Meet Senator Greg Blanc:
A Servant Leader Committed to District 35
Hello, my name is Greg Blanc, and I am humbled to represent District 35 as your State Senator. I am honored to have the privilege of being the people’s voice in Pierre for Rapid City, Box Elder, and Rapid Valley. I love the people of our community and deeply value the relationships I have established through many years of serving the residents of District 35.
For decades, I have been proactively involved in public service, including 24 years as a local pastor. I revere, respect, and support law enforcement, having been a Rapid City Police Department Chaplain for over 20 years. I have been a conservative voice for education and family values as a founding member of the RCAS School Superintendent’s Community Advisory Board. Politically, I had the privilege of representing over 1000 citizens as a GOP Precinct Committeeman, before being elected to the state senate in 2024.
I was blessed to have been selected by senate leadership, to serve on three vital senate committees, Judiciary, Taxation, and Military and Veteran Affairs. Whether in committee or on the senate floor, my voting record proves, I am Pro-Limited Government, Pro-Fiscal Responsibility, Pro-Lower Property Taxes, Pro-Family Values, Pro-Parental Rights, Pro-Life, Pro-2nd Amendment, Pro-Law Enforcement, Pro-Military, and Pro-Education.”
I am optimistic about the future, where District 35 thrives, safeguarded by the time-tested conservative standards that makes South Dakota so special. I would be very grateful if you would continue to trust me to represent your values in Pierre. I respectfully ask for your vote on June 2nd.
